Mowing Around is owned and operated by Colin Eaton. Colin started this company in early 2000 after realizing there was a need for a professional company that could deliver quality service, dependability, knowledge and a safe alternative to the use of pesticides and synthetic fertilizers. The company has developed a reputation for the services provided and is emerging as an industry leader in the commercial application of organic products.
We are committed to having the most educated staff to ensure that our clients receive only the most up to date design, construction and maintenance methods available. Our staff is dependable, courteous and most important, they enjoy what they do, is WCB insured and MowingAround has full Commercial General Liablility Insurance.
Our organic methods are based on the standards set out by the Society of Organic Urban Landcare (SOUL), Victoria branch.
Colin Eaton
Colin developed a love for landscaping while growing up on a farm in the Kootenays. Colin is certified in Organic Soil Management, Organic Turf Management, Ecological Landscape Design and is presently studying organic permaculture. "I love this work, creating and maintaining landscapes in a manner that is healthy for the landscape, for the owner and for my staff!"
Craig Gillespie
Craig started his horticulture career with MowingAround in 2007 and is a Certified Organic Master Gardener. Craig is in charge of our maintenance division and brings with him a strong understanding of customer service.
Kerry Martin
Raised on Salt Spring Island, Kerry brings with him over 10 years of landscaping industry experience on the South Coast. In 2005, Kerry graduated from the Horticultural Technician Program at the Pacific Horticulture College located on the grounds of Glendale Gardens.
He has gained experience working on some incredible high end properties in the Greater Victoria area as well as the experience of operating his own business for several years.
